Digital Transformation 2.0 Approach

At DQ, we follow an architecture-led approach to Digital Transformation, ensuring seamless alignment between technology, operations, and business goals. DT 2.0 provides a structured framework to Design, Deploy, and Manage digital transformation initiatives

What is DT 2.0?

Digital Transformation 2.0 (DT 2.0) is an approach to help organizations successfully transform digitally, following an architecture-led approach. The approach emphasizes the use of data to establish a holistic approach to Digital Transformation (DT). This ensures that organizations can adapt to the dynamic nature of the market and increase return on digital investments.

There are three major lifecycles that support the execution of the DT2.0 approach:

  • Design

  • Deploy

  • Manage

DT 2.0 Design

The DQ DT2.0 framework, takes a structured approach to analyzing and designing the target Digital Business Platform (DBP), required to realize the aspirations of the organization.

  1. Envision: We begin by understanding your aspirations and defining a strategic vision for your digital transformation.

  2. Target: The next step focuses on designing the target Digital Business Platform (DBP) state, ensuring it aligns with your business goals and technological needs.

  3. Baseline: At this stage, we assess your current assets and operations, identifying any gaps and areas for improvement to move toward the target state.

  4. Initiative: Finally, we create a detailed roadmap, and actionable blueprint with the necessary steps, tools, and systems to achieve the desired transformation.

DT 2.0 Deploy

The DQ DT2.0 Deployment Framework takes the Design Methodology a step further and focuses on structured execution, validation, governance, and continuous improvement to ensure seamless implementation.

  1. Initiate: We begin by defining the project scope, identifying key stakeholders, and aligning the business case and charter to ensure clarity on outcomes.

  2. Plan: Next, we create a detailed plan with a project schedule, work breakdown, and change control plan, ensuring that all deliverables are accounted for.

  3. Execute: During the execution phase, we track progress, ensure alignment with the project schedule, manage risks (RAID log), and work with vendors to deliver all required outcomes.

  4. Close: Finally, we ensure the project is successfully closed with milestone approval, scope compliance, and formal sign-off.

DT 2.0 Manage

The DQ DT2.0 Management Framework provides the continuous control and reconciliation mechanism to ensure the deployment is aligned to overall DBP design.

  1. Governance & Performance Lifecycle – Controls DBP realization for value delivery.

  2. Architecture & Portfolio Lifecycle – Ensures seamless DBP implementation and alignment.

  3. Demand Management Lifecycle – Enables agility to adapt to changing business priorities.

  4. Change & Culture Lifecycle – Supports organizational evolution for the digital economy.
